Overview
All < MM3538/MM3618/MM3582 > models feature a built-in load switch with overvoltage detection function and input current limit required for system paths, and built-in power FETs, backflow prevention diodes, and current sensor function required for charging and discharging. The use of a WLCSP package minimizes mounting area. Additionally, as well as being compatible with the JEITA recommended battery temperature profile, these models are also compatible with various battery pack specifications, and safety is also taken into consideration with the use of a lithium ion battery.
The < MM3538/MM3618 > models come equipped with an adapter and USB automatic recognition function to help reduce parts cost of the overall set. In addition to providing the individual settings for charging control voltage and current with I2C communication, they also include the freedom of set designs by allowing various settings to be configured.
< MM3538/MM3618 > have different types of voltage detection and charging ON/OFF terminal configurations, allowing the optimum model to be chosen to suit the set. < MM3582 > is a stand-alone type that does not feature the I2C communication function.
