For more compact, high performance devices
Magnetic proportion type current sensor
< CSD-80BS >
Announced on September 18, 2012
Overview
Until recently, there were calls for smarter use of energy, however after the accident at the nuclear power plant that was triggered by last year's Great East Japan Earthquake, there is now an increased awareness of energy-saving and energy-efficient technologies. Industry circles are moving even faster and making improvements based on the concept of energy-efficiency. The automobile industry in particular has actively been pushing to release hybrid and electric vehicles onto the market, while the housing industry is encouraging the uptake of HEMS (home energy management system). There are also increased moves for providing electrical power from renewable energy sources. With more business developing around the Smart Grid concept, increased current detection accuracy is being required for public and industry electronics products, coupled with improvements for power consumption that is safer and with less wasted energy. In light of these developments, the role of current sensors has become even more important.
The < CSD-80BS > is a high accuracy, compact and low cost magnetic proportion type current sensor that maximizes Mitsumi's core fields of technology such as magnetic simulation and magnetic material technology.
