Industry-leading low consumption current
Temperature switching IC with hysteresis function
MM3688xxxRRE
Announced on September 2, 2011
Overview
Temperature management has increased in importance recently following issues related to the generation of heat as electrical components become more compact and move to high-density mounting.
For this reason, cell phones, PCs, TVs and other equipment come included with temperature sensors, and temperature switching ICs are the most prominent type used in product circuitry.
Temperature switching ICs are required to be more compact and use lower consumption currents as they need to be used in compact equipment, ensure a longer operating life of mobile devices, and use lower power consumption as an overall set with other components .
To meet these requirements, Mitsumi has developed the < MM3688xxxRRE > temperature switching IC, a compact package which delivers the lowest consumption current in the industry.
Consumption current is now less than 1/10 of our existing products at 0.12 μA typ.
