High withstand voltage, low ON resistance, integrated MOSFET
3A output, synchronous step down DC-DC converter IC
MM3543
Announced on September 22, 2011
Overview
Trends for TVs, BluRay/DVD recorders, LCD monitors and other devices are moving toward larger, more diverse sizes and specifications as the market for LCD displays grows, and following the switch to terrestrial digital broadcasts. To meet this increased demand, DC-DC converter ICs that are capable of a wider range of input and output voltages are required for the power supply of large TVs and recorders.
The <MM3543> has been developed as a DC-DC converter with a maximum output current of 3 A to suit a wide range of circuits, and delivers a diverse input and output voltage range from 4.5 to 20 V with an integrated N-Channel MOSFET with an ON resistance of 120 mΩ.
