In Mitsumi, we have the product lineup of up to 4-serial cell protection ICs and in order to meet the increasing demands for 5-serial cell protection ICs, we have developed this < MM3474 > series ICs.
With this series of ICs, the protection circuit that has conventionally required the combination of cells and tuning of the circuit can be simplified to a great extent,and thus this series of ICs contributes to reduce the number of parts as well as cost.

1.	Capable of protecting any one of 2 to 5 serial cells of the battery by selecting the proper set of terminals.
2.	Capable of protecting the battery from over charge, over discharge and over current.
3.	Capable of varying the detection delay time with capacitor capacity, simplifying the adjustment of a circuit.
