■Overview
In the expanding camera-equipped cellular phone market and home electronics markets, demand for wide-angle camera with high image quality is increasing.
In the < CMV-55DX >, we have used a 1/10 inch VGA (see note 1), CMOS
(see note 2) sensor, and optimized the distance between the wide-angle lens (D82.5 deg) (see note 3) and the focal point to realize a small package of just
5 × 5 × 3.15 mm.
The wide-angle lens increases the potential of this product for applications other than cellular phones.
