■Overview
With ever-reducing product sizes, there is demand for a metal dome-type tactile switch with a smaller diameter than current products, and so we have developed the <SOM series>.
The <SOM series> offers a 60% reduction in area (in comparison to SOT/SOC series) while retaining a level of reliability equivalent to the previous series.
Moreover, the Nub-including specification minimizes the deterioration in operation feel which can occur with positioning errors at mounting or assembly.

2. | Nub attached to ensure that sweetspot of metal dome can be pressed reliably, even when mounting or assembly positioning errors occur. |
3. | J-bend structure with electrode terminals extending from the bottom of the base gives a coplaniarity of 0.1 mm max. |
4. | Supports RoHS/non-halogen/Pb free soldering. |
