§ Overview
Ground digital broadcasting area is steadily widening. Following this, the number of digital receivers is rapidly increasing, and the demand for ground digital tuners and BS digital tuners is expected to raise.
To respond to this demand, MITSUMI developed this two-in one small package tuner which includes both tuners imperative for viewing digital broadcasting.
By employing high-performance demodulator IC compliant with both ISDB-T
(*1) and ISDB-S
(*2), this unit is downsized to enable installation on a wide range of products including flat screen TVs and DVD recorders.
*1 ISDB-T: Ground digital broadcasting system (standard) adapted in Japan
*2 ISDB-S: BS digital broadcasting system (standard) adapted in Japan
