This IC is a small, stable power supply with output voltage precision of ±2% (when Io = 500mA), maximum output current of 1000mA, and I/O voltage difference of 0.2V typ. at 500mA.
Output noise reduction and output ON/OFF control pins are provided, making it ideal for portable equipment.
